Earlier this week, it was reported that Dr. Dre's oldest daughter is living out of her car while working 2 jobs.
Despite Dr. Dre's $800M net worth and Latanya Young's repeated pleas for help, he refuses to assist her and his 4 grandchildren obtain a stable home. LaTanya claims she is only able to communicate with Dr. Dre through his team.
“I’m just trying to communicate with him and see if he wants to talk to his grandkids.”
Dr. Dre, born Andre Young, has a very long list of family issues.

One of Dr. Dre's kids is not shocked at the seemingly selfish headlines. Hood Surgeon is the name one of his sons go by in the music industry. He said (to TMZ) in 2014,
"My billionaire dad is not sharing his money..and I'm cool with it!"
Dr. Dre hasn't financially assisted LaTanya since January of 2020 and according to LaTanya, he's never spoken to his grandkids. She works for DoorDash and Uber Eats as a delivery driver and fears losing her rental car because she can’t afford the payments after moving to California from Las Vegas in search of better work.

She went onto add the SUV costs $2,300 for three weeks and she only paid for one. Here's what the 38 year old single mother had to say about the location of her children while she tries to make ends meet out of her car,
“My kids are staying with friends — they are not living in the car, it’s just me [...] I’m taking odd jobs just to make it now — I got paid $15 an hour as an assembler at the warehouse. I’m trying to keep my head above water. I’ve been in debt for a while.”
According to her, Dr. Dre refuses to help her out because she has spoken about him in the press, and of course, this is what she was told through Dre's team -- not from him directly. I took the liberty of reaching out to LaTanya to gain more understanding and to see, at the very least, if there was anything I could do to help.
